We provide dedicated resources that support and facilitate our world-leading research enterprise.
Several dedicated offices inside of the Office of the Vice President for Research and for National Laboratories work with individual scholars, departments and divisions to accelerate, seed and coalesce research from initial proposal development through award management and development. We also oversee the management contracts and board operations for Argonne National Laboratory and Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory on behalf of the U.S. Department of Energy.
Our goal is to facilitate the work of our groundbreaking faculty who continue to open up new fields of discovery; develop new medicines and therapies to treat disease; design next generation materials; and cross disciplinary boundaries to solve some of the toughest problems facing our world today.
